Nor’easter Rosette: A Pattern with Rhythm and Resolve

I’ve always believed that our walls carry more than paint or pattern—they carry memory.
They hear our lives unfold. They hold the ordinary and the extraordinary—quiet breakfasts, bold decisions, old stories told again and again. That belief is what drove me to create the Signature Line. Every pattern in this collection is a tribute to place, story, and the kind of beauty that lingers.
And Nor’easter Rosette might be the most symbolic of all.

I grew up in a 1754 farmhouse in the woods of Connecticut, where the wind moved through the trees like a tide through the pines. Before that, I lived on an island where nor’easters blew in hard off the Sound and left behind a hush of calm and gratitude. That rhythm—the quiet power of storm and stillness—inspired this pattern.
Each rosette in Nor’easter Rosette is hand-painted, symmetrical yet slightly imperfect, like sea-stitched medallions anchored by memory. It’s refined, but strong. Elegant, but not delicate. It looks right at home in a historic entryway, a kitchen nook, or a tucked-away reading room.
Available in two colorways—muted coastal green and a marine navy-blue—it’s versatile, confident, and grounded in tradition.
Design Tip:
Nor’easter Rosette is a fantastic backdrop for gallery walls, antique furniture, or built-ins. Use it to create structure in a space that needs a sense of order without feeling rigid. I especially love it in hallways and powder rooms—those little spaces that deserve more thought.
Antique Tip:
Pair this pattern with a curved-back Windsor chair, an early Shaker cabinet, or a hand-turned peg rail. The design’s symmetry balances beautifully with rustic finishes, and its gentle rhythm allows your antiques to speak without interruption.
Paint Pairing Suggestions:
For the green version:
Benjamin Moore “October Mist” – soft and sage-like, tonal but not flat
Farrow & Ball “School House White” – warm and classic for trim or cabinetry
For the blue version:
Farrow & Ball “Hague Blue” – moody, elegant pairing with depth
Benjamin Moore “Simply White” – clean, crisp contrast with just enough warmth
Nor’easter Rosette is printed in the USA on premium wallpaper using Swedish-engineered presses—so every brushmark shows up with clarity.
Upholstery linen is coming with the launch, and woven fabrics will follow shortly after.
